Sunnyside Records is an American Jazz label. It was founded in 1982 by Francois Zalacain after he had made recordings of Harold Danko, Kirk Lightsey and Lee Konitz. Hundreds of records followed, including ones by Donald Brown, Stephane Belmondo, Meredith d’Ambrosio, Roslyn Burrough, Armen Donelian, Jay Leonhart, Jerry Gonzalez, Bill Pierce, Helen Sung, Ben Monder, Chris Potter, Geoff Keezer, John Hollenbeck, Avery Sharpe, James Williams and Rufus Reid. In addition to its own releases, the label also releases albums under licence from European record labels, such as the Spanish Karonte.
