We are thrilled to present the Classic V-Disc Big Band Jazz Sessions. During World War II, the V-Disc program sent music to troops overseas, allowing musicians to record free from union restrictions and commercial limitations.
This limited edition 10-CD set features 214 recordings—restored from mint condition originals and glass masters—delivering the best possible sound. It captures the peak of the era with rare performances by legends such as Woody Herman, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Buddy Rich, and the Dorsey Brothers.
